You may use the Peaksted website for lawful personal purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, bypass security, scrape it at unreasonable scale, misrepresent Peaksted content or use the site in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Peaksted content is general education about trekking preparation, training and mountain performance. It is not medical diagnosis, treatment or individual clinical advice. Training and travel at altitude involve real risks, and general information cannot account for your health, experience, route, weather or emergency support. Seek appropriately qualified medical or allied-health advice where needed and make conservative decisions in the mountains.
Submitting an enquiry does not enrol you in a programme, guarantee availability or create a coaching agreement. Scope, pricing, responsibilities, cancellation terms and any health-screening requirements for custom programming or 1:1 coaching will be confirmed separately in writing before paid work begins.
You are responsible for choosing objectives within your abilities, disclosing relevant information to your own health professionals and guides, checking current route and weather conditions, carrying appropriate equipment and following local rules and emergency advice. Stop or modify activity if conditions, symptoms or professional advice require it.
Unless otherwise stated, Peaksted owns or licenses the site design, written material, graphics and original resources. You may view and share links for personal use, but you may not reproduce, sell, adapt or commercially distribute substantial parts without written permission. Third-party material remains the property of its respective owner.
The site may link to training platforms, research, destinations and other third-party services. Those services control their own content, availability, privacy and terms. A link does not guarantee or endorse every statement or service on the linked site.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. To the extent permitted by law, Peaksted is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on general educational content, decisions made without appropriate professional or route-specific advice, or third-party services outside our control.
We may update the site and these terms from time to time. The version displayed when you use the site applies. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
For questions about these terms, contact Peaksted through the coaching enquiry form and identify the message as a terms enquiry.
