ABOUT PEAKSTED

Trained by science.

Tested by mountains.

Peaksted helps hikers and trekkers prepare physically and mentally for the mountains — so they can go farther, move with confidence, and meet the demands of real adventure.

Camp 1 · Why we exist

Your training should serve the mountain.

Mountains do not care about gym numbers alone. They demand endurance, strength, durability, judgement, and the ability to keep moving when conditions turn.

Peaksted exists to bridge the gap between general fitness and the real demands of hiking and trekking, helping people prepare with more purpose, more confidence and more respect for what the mountain actually asks of them.

Illustrative effort, day after day.

  • Tired legs on day four
  • Loose rock, steep steps and long descents
  • Do it again tomorrow, with a pack
  • Judgement when conditions turn

Camp 2 · The team

Meet the team.

Two people, one standard: preparation that respects the mountain. Tap a card to see what's behind the photo.

Camp 4 · Our approach

What shapes our approach.

Experience in mountainous and alpine environments.

Altitude is planned for, not trained away. Fitness helps, but acclimatisation is its own process.

How altitude really works →

From steep climbs and descents to wet trails, valleys and long backcountry days.

Uphill capacity and downhill durability are trained as separate qualities, because the mountain asks for both.

See the seven capacities →

Multi-day hikes and trekking demands that require endurance, adaptability and resilience.

Day one is rarely the problem. Day four is. Multi-day durability gets training of its own.

Train for repeated days →

Preparation shaped by what actually works on the trail, not just what looks good in theory.

We test ideas against real routes and turn what works into clearer preparation.

Check your readiness →

Camp 5 · What we stand for

Four things we won't compromise on.

  • Purposeful preparation

Every session has a reason, and the reason traces back to what the mountain will ask.

  • Resilient mindset

Hard days happen. We train the judgement to keep moving well when they do.

  • Earn the view

No shortcuts. The summit means more when the work behind it was real.

  • Respect the mountains

Conditions, local guidance and the people who live there come first.

Camp 6 · The journey

Not based in one place.

Peaksted isn't based in one place. We travel to train, test and learn in the mountains, and we plan to explore more mountainous countries. Pick a range to see where we're at.

Nepal · Himalaya

Our Everest Base Camp guide is live. Next, we plan to trek the Everest Three Passes and film it.

Follow the journey

We plan to film our Everest Three Passes trek in Nepal, documentary style, for YouTube. We haven't set off yet. Follow along once we do.

Camp altitudes follow the classic Everest Base Camp route and are approximate.
